Treeworks Standard 35 Bar Reviews 5

I got this through Musician's Friend for $69. I play drums at my church and this has been sought after by me and my friends for a while as an accent.

These chimes are beautiful! When I first pulled them out of the package and it sounded off, all I could say was "WOW!". Everything about these chimes is quality. The wood is strong and wonderful, the ropes well up to the task, and the chimes themselves sound great and look great.

I dislike that there are so few mounts for chimes available. I didn't like the looks of the Danmar one, so I used a Gibraltar grabber arm. It's not meant for it exactly, but it works fine, and gives me a lot more options than the Danmar one.

Everything is made well: Wood- great, no splinters/rough edges, holes drilled evenly. Has a Treeworks brand metal badge on the end, brass in color, matches the wood. Rope- strong, braided, and secured inside the wood, it dosen't move loosely except on the chime. Chimes- Evenly cut, for a smooth move from large to small. Sound great, can be played from the middle, or either way from the ends.

If you are looking to get a set of chimes, these are the ones for you. Treeworks offers many varieties in number and effects. I put these well above LP or RythymTech chimes.
